“Chhachh Bhanger Gaan” is a play about the lives of Purulia’s Chhau artists. It strongly protests against caste and religious orthodoxy, showing that art cannot be confined by such barriers. Art belongs to everyone, and so do the artists. The play powerfully voices resistance against casteism and religious hypocrisy in the world of art.
