The head of a family suddenly disappears. After placing an advertisement in the newspaper, his children focus on how to seize his property, consulting lawyers, thugs and the police, but neglect searching for him. Meanwhile the eldest son tries to break into his father’s closet. An outsider, seeing the ad, brings a man claiming to be the missing father, but events reveal he is not. The story progresses through conflicts, and eventually, the outsider, unable to fit the man into the father’s role, leaves with him towards an uncertain future, suggesting that no void lasts forever, only time passes.
