Haripada, a simple clerk, has a strange habit of sneezing loudly. One day, he excitedly tells his wife that he bought two theatre tickets where even his boss will sit. Though his wife has already seen the play several times, he insists on taking her. At the theatre, his boss fails to recognize him, and Haripada’s repeated attempts to get attention end with a loud sneeze that drives the boss away. Regretful, he tries to apologize the next day, but an argument breaks out, and the boss fires him. In despair, Haripada commits suicide.
