On a silent night at a small-town railway platform, two strangers meet—one local, one a trader who missed the last train home. Waiting for dawn, they converse. The local man weaves lives together with imagination, trying to feel others’ inner “climate.” At first, the trader only understands the weather of the land and people, not his own. But after the man leaves at dawn, sitting alone, he seems to sense his own inner climate—perhaps making us wonder if we too feel ours.
